This is a great chance to come along and try out archery if you have never done it before. Both events make for a great day out for the family too. If you are a member of Eagle Bowmen your help at these events is always needed so please keep the dates free in your diaries.
However, due to COVID-19, we have been unable to run these sessions the last couple of years. We are aiming to resume these sessions when it is possible and safe to do so.
Other Have-A-Go Events
We also host other Have a Go events on request, as long as it fits into our busy diary of pre-booked events. We have hosted events at schools, business open days, bike rallies and often have Brownies, Guides, Cubs, Scouts and other groups visit the club for an evening of fun. If you have an event you would like us to come to or group you would like to bring to club for a one off treat please contact Chris Battersby.
We are an archery club in Penrith, Cumbria.
We have members of all ages and practice target archery and clout, with recurve, longbow and compound.
There are plenty of opportunities to enter competitions or just shoot on club nights – the choice is yours.
Once you have done a beginners course come along, practice and have fun.
£2.50 each night you shoot
Monday, Wednesday and Thursday
6.30pm – 8.30pm
