Experienced or not, young or not so young - you are all welcome.

Depending on your circumstances and requirements there are a few different ways to do archery with the Eagles.

BEGINNERS COURSE

If you want to take up archery as a sport then the Beginners Course is for you. Whether you have had a go in the past or you have never picked up a bow before you will be taught all you need to get you started.

LOOKNG FOR A CLUB TO SHOOT AT

If you are already a member of archery GB and have just moved to the area, or perhaps you are just visiting and looking for an archery club to shoot at - then give Chris Battersby, our coach, a call on 01768 866 670 for more details. You will be more than welcome to come and join the fun with the rest of the Eagles.

HAVE-A -GO

There are a few annual Have a Go events through the year that we run. If you fancy coming along they make for a great day out. We also do one offs for various groups like the Brownies and Cubs.

If you already shoot with a club we have some competitions that you might like to enter. We would love to meet you if you have never been before and its always a pleasure to welcome you back if you are a regular to Penrith.

Eagle Bowmen

We are an archery club in Penrith, Cumbria.
We have members of all ages and practice target archery and clout, with recurve, longbow and compound.

There are plenty of opportunities to enter competitions or just shoot on club nights – the choice is yours.

Club Nights

Once you have done a beginners course come along, practice and have fun. 

£2.50 each night you shoot

Monday, Wednesday and Thursday
6.30pm – 8.30pm
